Four Hills Tournament

Hello :)

Do you like sport? Well, I do and I am a big fan of watching ski jumping on television ;). Yesterday was the finale of the 63rd Four Hills Tournament. This annual ski jumping competition consists of four independent contests and takes place in Germany and Austria around the turn of the year. The Four Hills Tournament is one of the most prestigious ski jumping events in the world and exists since 1952. The winner is the athlete who receives the most point over the four contests. Germany has been the most successful nation over the years (16 victories), but the Austrians are close on their heels. Our team won the last seven competitions with six different athletes. That’s quite impressive I think ;). The current winner is the 21-year-old Stefan Kraft. He succeeded yesterday in a very thrilling competition at Bischofshofen. Second became his roommate Michael Hayböck – an Austrian as well. So a very favourable year for our country. Let’s hope that the national athletes can continue their series of victories at the 64th Four Hills Tournament :)

See you!
