Today I saw a documentary on
Irish dance. This reminded me of my time in Ireland, were we used to have
“Irish evenings”. Every Wednesday some staff members have performed great Irish
dancing and singing. It has always been a lot of fun (or craic, as the Irish tend to
say)! One of my former colleagues, Ciara, is even an Irish Champion in Irish
dance. She won an important competition in Dublin about two years ago. This
photo is probably not the best but I want to pay Ciara a compliment ;). She is
the girl on the left side. That’s all for today but now I am really into the
topic and I am going to post something about the history of Irish dance soon.
